Veterans Day

October 7th, 2014 | Posted by Sara in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)

Veterans Day is November 11.  Keep vets in mind every day by #ThankVet.  Tape a short video of yourself thinking a veteran in your life and post it on Twitter under #thankvet.

Here is my video!

Sunday is a wonderful, long overdue day for American’s disabled veterans.  The American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial or AVDLM opens.  It will honor the more than three million disabled veterans in this country.

These veterans protected our freedom.  They deserved to be remembered every day.

To read some of their stories go look up The Disabled Veteran’s Story by Miguel Reece.

And now for something completely different.

If you are in Minneapolis this week, come and see an upcoming author named Paul Czajak.  He is the author of the Monster & Me series.  His first book is Monster Needs a Costume.

He will appear in Maple Grove at the Barnes & Noble at 6pm and in Roseville this Friday at 6:30.  He will also be at Kimberly Lane school and Gleason Lake Wednesday and Thursday.  He will end his week at the Heartland Fall Forum at the Minneapolis Depot.

Come support a new author!
