Tonight it’s Game One for the Ladies!

Tonight will be a legendary night in the world of women’s figure skating.  The long program for the women at the Olympics is where legends are born!   In the past 25 years it had made stars of Katarina Witt, Kristi Yamaguchi, Oksana Bauil, Tara Lipnski, Sarah Hughes, and now Yu Na Kim.

Last night, the women came out and performed beautifully.  Yu Na Kim was graceful and divine.  Even the Americans all skated to the best of their ability.

I’m hoping all the women skate well tonight and push each other to make it the best night of figure skating ever!

I’m rooting for Caroline Kostner from Italy and Paulina Edmonds from America.

Enjoy!

Olympic Fever!

On February 6, the Olympics begin.  Last weekend, the US National Championships aired on NBC.  It got me in the spirit.  I’m looking forward to the figure skating competition.  There will be major battles in women’s skating with Kim Ye Na and Mao Asado.  However, their are two or three bright newcomers on the American team.

1. Gracie Gold, 2014 US National Champion, she is on skating fire and look for her to do well at the Olympics

2. Polina Edmonds,  she is the silver medalist and skates like Oksana Bauiel.

3. Lastly, do yourself a favor and watch the 2014 men’s silver medalist: Jason Brown.  His performance was electric.

Go USA!
