On a totally different topic, here are some tips about promoting a book that has been on the market for a few years.
1. Mark an anniversary and do a release about the book.
2. Tie the book to a news story.
3. Tie the book to a holiday.
4. Do a re-release. Especially if your book never found its audience or never made a big splash.
5. Lastly, publish a supplement updating the book.
Veterans Day is November 11. Keep vets in mind every day by #ThankVet. Tape a short video of yourself thinking a veteran in your life and post it on Twitter under #thankvet.
Here is my video!
November 11, 2014 is Veteran’s Day.
As a way to say thank you, go to https://twitter.com/ThankVet and post support for a vet in your life.
Veterans just want acknowledgement and our support. We need to thank them every day not just on holidays.
Please #thankavet in your life.
This idea was based on the book, The Disabled Veteran’s Story by Major Miguel Reece.

Enjoy the beautiful summer weather!
June 6th is the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. D-Day is one of the most historic days in American history. On June 6, American, Canadian, and English forces came together to invade France to stop Hitler’s Germany. It was a deadly battle involving paratroopers, Navy, Air Force and Army troops.
Take time to pay tribute to the men and women who changed our world. They gave us freedom and make the ultimate sacrifice.
Below is a interview from Major Miguel Reece. His new book, The Disabled Veteran’s Story, tells stories from veterans of several battles.

Hi all,
Whether you are enjoying a long weekend at the lake or just a quiet weekend at home, please remember the troops this weekend and veterans!
Tune in to Fox 9 to see Maj. Miguel Reece talk about his new book, The Disabled Veteran’s Story. The book is about some of the most meaningful stories Reece heard as a VA field examiner/ investigator.

So much is taking place with the VA. Secrecy, vets not getting treated, vets dying before receiving treatment.
For a different take, check out Major Miguel Reece’s new book, The Disabled Veteran’s Story. He writes about vets, their journey and how they saved our world from repression.
It is a humbling, fascinating read!
